Shift Supervisors oversee staff, and operations of Godmother's Pizza on the shift they are working. Shift Supervisors responsibilities include overseeing overall Godmother's strategy, managing people, training, enforcing policies, oversee and participate in food production, and customer relations on the shift they are working. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful and fair, have a want to become a leader, confident, honest, and motivated in helping people develop and be productive, while ensuring our high standards of food production.

  • Oversee operations during working shift 
  • Effectively communicate with Customers and Team Members 
  • May conduct interviews, assist in the hiring of new Team Members, and perform performance reviews and disciplinary protocols 
  • Learn and train all food stations 
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed properly during working shift 
  • Prepare and ensure Godmother's food recipes and ingredients are handled correctly 
  • Oversee the compliance of food safety standards during working shift 
  • Oversee Godmother's strategy, policies and processes, and ensure staff work productively and follow health and safety regulations during working shift  
  • Evaluate and improve operations 
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work stations during hours of operation 
  • Thorough knowledge of setup, operation, breakdown and cleaning of all kitchen equipment (knowledge of proper handling of chemicals for cleaning) 
  • Prepare and cook all food according to Godmother's Pizza recipes and food safety standard 


  • 2 years in the food industry, or 6 months of supervisor experience, or culinary school experience 
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation skill 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good organizational and leadership skills 
  • Problem-solving aptitude 
  • Must be computer literate 
  • Flexibility in hours per week 25-40 hours, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays 
  • Consent to background screening, including criminal, driving, and drug screening 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a shift team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented and customer focused 
  • Server Safe Certified or willing to go through our SSC Class is a plus.
