GENERAL MANAGER

General Managers oversee all staff, and operations of the Godmother's Pizza. General Manager responsibilities include overseeing overall Godmother's strategy, managing people, training, enforcing policies, and oversee and participate in food production and customer relations. To be successful in this role, you should be a thoughtful and fair leader, a confident decision-maker, honest, and motivated in helping our people develop and be productive, while ensuring our high standards of food production.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Oversee scheduling of all team members
  • Effectively communicate with Customers and Team Members
  • Perform interviews and assist in the hiring of new Team Members
  • Learn and train all food stations
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed properly
  • Prepare and ensure all Godmother's food recipes and ingredients are handled correctly
  • Oversee the compliance of food safety standards
  • Oversee Godmother's strategy
  • Participate in performance reviews and disciplinary protocols
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
  • Oversee policies and processes
  • Ensure employees work productively
  • Evaluate and improve operations
  • Prepare regular reports for owners
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work stations during hours of operation
  • Thorough knowledge of setup, operation, breakdown and cleaning of all kitchen equipment (knowledge of proper handling of chemicals for cleaning)
  • Prepare and cook all food according to Godmother's Pizza recipes and food safety standard

Skills

  • 2 year Shift Supervisor or 1 year Manager experience in food establishment
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation skill
  • Experience in maintaining budgets
  • Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, Human Resources, etc.)
  • Employee recruitment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Must be computer literate
  • Flexibility in hours per week 35-50 hours, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Consent to background screening, including criminal, driving and drug screening
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills, results oriented and customer focused
  • Server Safe Certified or willing to go through our SSC Class.
  • After training Candidate must meet the internal minimal requirements
  • Must be 18+ years of age
